OpenEdge DataServer compatibility

A client for the DataServer can be any of the following:

4GL client (character or GUI)
WebSpeed Agent
AppServer

Table 1–4 details client and server compatibility for a DataServer. Progress Software Corporation does not support combinations not listed in the table.
